Dunkermotoren RE30 (TI) Incremental Encoder

Where cable distances or electrical noise make standard encoder outputs unreliable, the Dunkermotoren RE30 TI solves the problem with an integrated line driver that transmits complementary signals (/A, /B, /I) capable of rejecting interference on runs beyond 2.5 m. It mounts directly to Dunkermotoren BG and GR brushless DC motors, delivering contact-free quadrature position feedback with index referencing at 100, 500, or 1,024 pulses per channel from a 5 Vdc supply.

With compatibility across the GR 30, GR 30S, GR 42, GR 53, GR 63, GR 80, BG 32 dCore, BG 32 KI, BG 42 dCore, BG 45, BG 62 dCore, BG 65, BG 66, BG 75 and BG 95 dPro motor series, the RE30 TI covers the broadest motor range of any encoder in the Dunkermotoren lineup. Three protection options are available — IP 30 open-mounted, IP 54 with a protective hood, or IP 65 when integrated into the BG motor profile housing. The operating temperature range is 0°C to +70°C. The mating connector 27573 37059 is available with a 500 mm pre-wired strand, and a 24 Vdc supply version is available on request.

The RE30 TI is well suited to industrial automation, conveyor and material handling systems, medical and laboratory equipment, and pump or valve drives where long wiring runs between the motor and control cabinet are the norm. The index pulse makes it particularly effective in applications requiring repeatable homing — automated assembly, CNC axes, and multi-axis positioning systems.

As part of the broader Dunkermotoren motion system, the RE30 TI pairs with GR-series planetary gearboxes for torque multiplication and with Dunkermotoren electromagnetic brakes for controlled stopping and position holding.
