About Us

Powerbox Australia is a leading supplier of reliable power conversion, energy storage, power generation, motion & drive solutions across a wide range of industries, including security, railway & transport, telecommunications and defence to name a few. As we continue to expand our reach and offering, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support our growing marketing efforts across both digital and traditional channels.

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution of digital campaigns, content creation, website updates, graphic design and event coordination. You'll work directly under our Digital Marketing Manager and gain exposure to a wide variety of marketing tasks, from uploading new products in Shopify to helping coordinate major trade shows. With a strong focus on digital execution, the role also includes traditional marketing elements, providing a well-rounded opportunity to grow your skills across both channels.

We are open to both part-time (3 days/week) or full time applicants and are looking for someone who can grow with us over time.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Website Support

  • Uploading new products and updating existing listings in Shopify
  • Updating website content pages and uploading blog articles
  • Preparing assets for promotional banners, landing pages, and eCommerce campaigns

Social Media Support

  • Assisting with content creation and asset development for social media calendars
  • Writing and scheduling social media posts across LinkedIn, Facebook, and X
  • Supporting the roll-out of paid social campaigns (with direction)

Email Marketing

  • Preparing content and assets for eDMs
  • Creating email workflows and segmentation
  • Scheduling and sending email campaigns to industry-specific lists

Traditional Marketing & Event Support

  • Assisting with trade show logistics and coordination
  • Preparing and updating collateral such as brochures, flyers, datasheets, and POS materials
  • Coordinating print suppliers and artwork approvals

General Artwork & Asset Creation

  • Designing assets for paid ads and digital campaigns
  • Creating internal or external print materials (business cards, signage, product sheets)
  • Maintaining brand consistency across all touchpoints

What We’re Looking For

  • Marketing experience, ideally in a B2B or technical product-based environment
  • Hands-on approach
  • Qualifications in Marketing (completed or in progress)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow project briefs accurately
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under direction
  • Experience across both digital and traditional marketing is highly regarded – While the role leans toward digital execution, exposure to traditional channels (e.g. event coordination, print collateral) is an advantage. You don’t need to be an expert in both, however, having a working understanding of each will set you up for success.

Tech & Tools You'll Use

  • Shopify - CMS / eCommerce
  • HubSpot - email marketing & CRM
  • Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Canva - for quick-turnaround content creation
  • Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Social Media - LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube

Why Join Powerbox?

  • Flexible work options (choose from part-time or full time)
  • Opportunity to develop your skills in both digital and traditional marketing
  • Supportive and down-to-earth team culture
  • Work with a trusted brand delivering technical solutions across major Australian industries
  • Room for growth, this role has the potential to evolve for the right candidate
