Read MoreThe Dunkermotoren E310R is a spring-force power-off brake that automatically holds an axis in place the moment supply voltage is removed, with no holding current required to maintain the grip. It is built for applications where an emergency stop, power failure or routine shutdown must never allow a load to drift, slip or fall.
As a spring-applied design, the E310R stays insensitive to temperature and load changes, so holding torque remains predictable through thermal cycling and shifting duty. At 3.3 Nm nominal holding torque, it sits toward the top of the power-off series, suited to heavier or higher-inertia axes than the lower-torque E22R, E38R or E90R models.
The E310R integrates with Dunkermotoren BG75 motors, sealing to IP65 inside the motor's profile housing for washdown or dusty environments; mounted openly or under a cover, it reaches up to IP 65 on other compatible motors in the range. Flying-lead wiring gives a direct connection with no adapters required.
It suits vertical axes, gravity-loaded stages and gantries, anywhere a Dunkermotoren drive needs a fail-safe hold on de-energisation. Pair it with a BG75 motor, and a Dunkermotoren gearbox where reduction is needed, to specify a complete holding-brake drive system from a single supplier.

Features
- Spring-force power-off design holds the load when the 24 Vdc supply is removed — the axis stays put on power loss with no holding current
- 3.3 Nm nominal holding (3.30–5.40 Nm over temperature) — steps the range up for heavier or higher-inertia axes
- Insensitive to temperature and load changes, so holding stays predictable through duty cycling and thermal swings
- Low-noise operation for quiet installations
- Integrates with BG 75 motors inside an IP 65 profile housing — or mounts open at IP 20, up to IP 65 with covers
- Balanced 20 ms engage / 65 ms release timing for controlled holding on heavier loads
- 500 mm AWG 24 flying leads (blue GND, red Vdc) for direct wiring, no adapters or extra tails
