The Delta Rectiverter 1U is a combined rectifier and inverter shelf that supplies backed-up single-phase AC alongside 48Vdc from one 1U, 19in chassis. It is designed for sites where 230Vac or 115Vac loads need battery backup in parallel with the 48Vdc system. Built-in transfer technology switches the AC loads to battery power when the mains supply fails.

The shelf can be used in two ways. Integrated into a Delta DC system, it connects to the same Smartpack2, Smartpack S or Compack controller as the 48Vdc system and operates in parallel with Flatpack2 rectifiers. As a standalone system, it connects to any available 48Vdc source.

Output power is shared between the AC and DC ports, and both limits can be set to suit the attached load. AC load takes priority, so the DC power available depends on the AC demand at the time. Two front-mounted IEC 320-C13 sockets on 2-pole 10A distribution feed AC equipment directly from the shelf, and the modules are hot-pluggable.

Typical applications include power utilities, marine and offshore installations, railway and metro infrastructure, mobile and wireless telecom sites.

For a complete 48Vdc system, pair the Rectiverter 1U with Delta Flatpack2 HE rectifier modules and a Delta Smartpack2 Touch controller. Powerbox Australia provides local engineering support and system design assistance for Rectiverter projects.

Notes
1) Output voltage ranges configured in factory and have individual keying in top chassis
2) AC load has priority. Maximum available DC output power and current is dependent on instant AC load and AC input voltage; i.e. maximum 1600W at full AC power and nominal input for 230Vac
3) Reduced performance – no power boost and increased voltage THD on AC output
4) If DC port is overloaded pulling the voltage below 43V the input current may increase above this level

FAQs
There are two models. The 4kW 230Vac model (PSPHT402RC301.1) supplies 230Vac AC output, adjustable from 200–240Vac, from a 185–275Vac input. The 2kW 115Vac model (PSPHT202RC301.0) supplies 115Vac, adjustable from 100–127Vac, from a 95–140Vac input. Both provide a 48Vdc output with a default of 53.5Vdc, adjustable from 43–58Vdc.
The 230Vac model delivers up to 3kVA (2400W) continuous AC output and up to 2400W DC output. The 115Vac model delivers up to 1.5kVA (1200W) AC and up to 1200W DC. Output power is shared between the ports and AC load has priority, so the DC power available depends on the AC load. For example, the 230Vac model provides a maximum of 1600W DC at full AC power and nominal input.
Yes. The Rectiverter 1U can be integrated into a Delta DC system and connected to the same controller as the 48Vdc system, or used as a standalone system connected to any available 48Vdc source.
The Rectiverter 1U connects via RJ45 to Smartpack2, Smartpack S and Compack controllers. When integrated into a Delta 48Vdc system, it can operate in parallel with Flatpack2 rectifiers on the same controller.
When the mains supply fails, the Rectiverter 1U switches its AC loads to battery power and runs in inverter mode. It holds up the AC output for 5ms through voltage dips before switching to battery. In inverter mode, the default output frequency is 50Hz on the 230Vac model and 60Hz on the 115Vac model, and can be set to 50Hz, 60Hz or the last synced frequency.
Delta lists power utilities, marine and offshore, railway and metro infrastructure, and mobile and wireless telecom sites as typical applications. It suits any site where a 230Vac or 115Vac backup is needed in parallel with the 48Vdc backup.
Electrical safety is to EN IEC 62368-1:2020+A11:2020 and EN 62040-1 for UPS safety. EMC standards include ETSI EN 300 386 V.1.6.1, FCC CFR 47 Part 15, EN 61000-6-1/-2/-4/-5 and EN 62040-2. Environmental classes are ETSI EN 300 019-2-1 (Class 1.2) and 2-2 (Class 2.3), with RoHS 3 and WEEE compliance.
Yes. The modules are hot-pluggable and fused in both line and neutral. The AC input connects to individual 6mm² screw terminals for line, neutral and PE, and the bulk DC input and output connect to M6 bolts.
