The Dunkermotoren SL 38 STL Series is a high-performance stainless steel servo linear motor designed for demanding industrial, food-grade, and hygienic applications. With continuous forces up to 430.5 N (with water cooling) and peak forces reaching 3690 N, the SL 38 STL delivers exceptional force density in a compact, IP65-rated package.

The SL 38 STL features an integrated linear encoder and is available in two configurations: the SL 38 A actuator version with a moving motor housing and maintenance-free sleeve bearing system, and the SL 38 C component version with a moving magnetic rod. Operating from 325 VDC or 560 VDC supply voltages, these motors achieve peak accelerations exceeding 200 m/s² and speeds of up to 8.3 m/s.

Available in three stack lengths: SL 38x06, SL 38x10, and SL 38x14, each offered in 325 V and 560 V versions, the series provides flexibility to match application force and speed requirements. Standard water cooling connection (M7x6) ensures reliable thermal management in continuous duty cycles.

Compatible with commercially available servo controllers from Schneider, Siemens, and others (settings available), the SL 38 STL is ideal for precision positioning, automation, and food processing environments requiring special surface treatments.
