Read MoreThe Delta DPR 3000B-110 is a 3kW, 110Vdc hot-plug rectifier module and the power module in the Delta DPS 3000 110V DC power system. Each module converts a single-phase AC supply to 110Vdc, charging the station battery and supplying the load. Up to five modules fit in one shelf, for 15kW.
The rectifier produces a regulated DC output for 110V and 125V nominal battery systems. The system controller sets and monitors each module over CAN bus, adjusting the output voltage for float, boost and equalise charging. In normal operation the rectifiers carry the standing load, and the battery takes over when AC is lost.
Modules in the same shelf share load within ±5% of maximum current. Three LEDs on the module front show its status at a glance, while detailed alarms and per-module data are reported to the Orion Touch controller over CAN bus.
Delta designed the DPR 3000B-110 for 110–125V battery systems in railway and metro, power utilities, and demanding industries such as marine, oil and gas, and process applications.
Adding capacity is a matter of fitting modules into empty slots in a DPS 3000 110V shelf, up to five for 15kW. The controller detects each new module and brings it into load sharing. One module more than the load needs gives N+1 redundancy: a 9kW load on four modules, for example, leaves 3kW spare. With a spare module on site, a failed unit can be swapped in minutes by hot-plugging, with no shutdown.

Features
- Lower energy and cooling costs: 96.5% peak efficiency means about 109W of loss per module at 3kW, or 545W across a full 15kW shelf
- Minimal impact on the site AC supply: power factor above 0.99 and THD below 3.5% at full load keep harmonic load to a minimum
- Tolerates low or variable AC supplies: 90–300Vac input, with derating at or below 176Vac, plus 90–400Vdc input capability
- Headroom for hot equipment rooms and cabinets: rated −40 to +75°C, with derating above 50°C
- No downtime for maintenance: hot-swappable from the front, so a module can be replaced without shutting the system down
- Clean, stable DC for the load and battery: ripple of ≤500mVp-p and ≤100mVrms, with ±0.5% load regulation
- Saves rack space: 3kW in an 84×41×265mm, 2.0kg module, a power density of 53.5W/in³, for up to 15kW per shelf
- Better resilience to lightning-induced surges: input and output protection to EN 61000-4-5 on both the AC supply and DC output
- No single module carries more than its share: modules in a shelf share load within ±5% of maximum current, set and monitored by the system controller over CAN bus
- Simplifies compliance on rail and marine projects: railway EMC to EN 50121-4 and EN 50121-5, marine approval to EN 60945 and DNV-GL CG-0339
