Delta CU-31AF Site Controller for DC Power Systems

The Delta CU-31AF site controller is the key component for remote monitoring and management of DC power systems. It collects measurement data and alarm events from across the site and uploads them to Delta RMMS software, giving operators a central view of site status without a site visit.

On site, the controller supervises connected equipment through an IMBUS CAN bus for extension modules and an RS485 Modbus RTU master port. Digital, analogue, temperature and Hall sensor DC current inputs, plus free dry contact outputs, bring site alarms and auxiliary signals into one controller.

Optional functions extend its reach: control and monitoring of Delta standard modules including rectifiers, PV chargers, LVD control boards and AC and DC meters; genset ON/OFF control and monitoring over RS485 Modbus RTU; and configurable DO/DI/AI PLC functionality for supervising and controlling auxiliary devices. Delta configures these to suit each application.

For remote access, SNMP v1, v2c and v3 run over one WAN and five LAN Ethernet ports, and a Modbus RTU slave interface shares data with other remote monitoring systems. A 100,000-entry data log, remote firmware upgrade and natural air flow cooling from −40 to +70°C keep remote sites maintainable from a distance.
