Powerbox PBB2P 480W DIN Rail Power Supply

The Powerbox PBB2P 480W DIN Rail Power Supply is a single-output AC/DC unit for industrial, security and telecommunications panels that need higher current from a cost-effective, reliable platform. It is available in 24Vdc (20A) and 48Vdc (10A) versions, both running from a universal AC input.

Mains connects through an IEC C14 inlet, so the supply can be connected and disconnected with a standard IEC cable instead of disturbing hardwired terminals. This makes installation and service quicker in the field.

The Powerbox PBB2P 480W DIN Rail Power Supply is convection cooled with no internal fan, which suits sealed or dusty enclosures and removes a common wear item. It delivers full rated power from -30°C to +50°C ambient, then derates up to +70°C at 230Vac, and is rated for cold start at -40°C. A status LED gives a quick visual check of the output.

A built-in constant current circuit lets the supply handle capacitive and inductive loads such as solenoids, electric locks, motor-driven devices and large banks of relays, as well as standard resistive loads. No-load power consumption is also reduced, which helps in systems that spend long periods idle.
