Read MoreThe Powerbox PB314A Series DC-UPS and Battery Charger delivers a robust and reliable solution for applications demanding uninterrupted DC power and intelligent battery management. Proudly designed and manufactured in Australia by Powerbox, the PB314A reflects decades of local engineering expertise and is built to meet the needs of Australian industry and infrastructure.
Designed for 19" rack-mount installation, it is ideally suited to telecommunications networks, radio communications infrastructure, and industrial systems where backup power is critical. The PB314A operates as a true off-line DC-UPS, delivering power to connected DC loads directly from the rectifier during normal operation, while simultaneously charging the battery. In the event of an AC mains failure, it automatically switches to battery power with no interruption to the load—ensuring continuous operation of critical systems without voltage dips or reset events.
Key features include a digital front-panel display for real-time system monitoring, selectable constant float voltage, current limiting, and integrated circuit breakers for both load and battery protection. The system also supports optional low-voltage disconnect (LVD) and battery temperature compensation, helping to maximise battery life and performance. Advanced alarm functionality and optional network connectivity via SNMP V1 and an embedded web server support reliable remote system monitoring.
Available in 13.8Vdc, 27.6Vdc, and 55.4Vdc output configurations, with models delivering between 636W and 1056W, the PB314A Series offers scalable, high-efficiency power solutions for a wide range of critical applications. Fully compliant with relevant safety (AS/NZS 60950.1) and EMC (AS/NZS CISPR11) standards, it ensures both performance and compliance in demanding environments.
The Powerbox PB314A Series is a trusted and proven choice for mission-critical systems requiring dependable DC-UPS functionality and advanced, configurable battery charging.
