Output voltage is selectable via DIP switch for either 12Vdc or 24Vdc operation, with configurable buffer times and adjustable charge current to match application needs. Advanced battery management is delivered via the onboard BATTSAFE firmware, which supports a range of battery chemistries including Lead Acid, Ni-Cd and Lithium (Li-Ion, Li-PoFe). The ‘S’ variant (DCU150M1224S) includes support for Modbus RTU communication via dual RJ45 connectors, allowing for optional remote status and fault monitoring.

- Flexible system configuration: Adjustable buffer time, charge current limit, and fast charge enablement allow users to tailor system behaviour for application-specific load and battery parameters
- Communication and Remote Alarms: supports Modbus-RTU via dual RJ45 ports for PLC/HMI integration (DCU150M1224S Only), alongside three voltage-free relay outputs for mains loss, battery fault, and rectifier failure signalling
