How long can the EFOY Pro 2800 run on a single fuel cartridge?

On the MT60 (60L) cartridge, the EFOY Pro 2800 delivers up to 1,333 hours of autonomy at 50W — approximately 55 days of continuous operation. The M28 (28L) provides around 622 hours. With the optional EFOY Fuel Manager, up to 8 cartridges can be connected for fully unattended extended deployments.

What batteries is the EFOY Pro 2800 compatible with?

It supports 12V and 24V lead-acid batteries (Lead-Gel, Lead-Acid, AGM) and LiFePO4 lithium batteries (12.8V / 25.6V). Battery capacity can be configured up to 800Ah at 12V or 400Ah at 24V for lead-acid, and up to 600Ah/300Ah for LiFePO4.

Can the EFOY Pro 2800 operate in harsh Australian outdoor conditions?

Yes. It operates across a wide temperature range of -20°C to +50°C, covering everything from alpine to outback environments. It carries an IP21 ingress protection rating and functions reliably in rain and challenging field conditions. Note that start-up requires temperatures above +3°C.

How much maintenance does the EFOY Pro 2800 require?

Very little. It automatically monitors battery charge levels and activates only when top-up is needed. The only regular task is replacing fuel cartridges. With the EFOY Fuel Manager pre-loaded with multiple cartridges, sites can operate for months without intervention.

How loud is the EFOY Pro 2800 during operation?

It operates at less than 50 dB(A) measured at 1 metre — roughly equivalent to a quiet office environment. This makes it well suited for noise-sensitive deployments including residential security towers, environmental monitoring stations, and wildlife research sites.

Can the EFOY Pro 2800 be monitored and controlled remotely?

Yes. It includes Ethernet connectivity and supports MODBUS TCP and secured MQTT protocols for integration with SCADA and remote monitoring platforms. It also connects to the EFOY Cloud for real-time status, performance data, and alerts via an optional Bluetooth adapter or Ethernet connection.

What fuel does the EFOY Pro 2800 use and can it be transported by air?

It uses methanol fuel cartridges available in M10 (10L), M28 (28L), and MT60 (60L) sizes. All cartridges carry UN approval for transport by road, sea, and air, and meet strict international safety standards. Fuel consumption is approximately 0.9 litres per kWh.
