FAQs
The Cincon IEC Cable is the AC mains input lead for the Cincon TRH Series desktop power supplies (TRH50A, TRH70A, and TRH100A). It connects the C14 IEC inlet on the power supply to a mains outlet, completing the AC input connection for these external power supply units.
The IEC Cable supplied through Powerbox for the Australian and New Zealand market uses the standard AS/NZS 3112 3-pin flat plug (the Australian mains plug standard), connecting to the C14 socket on the TRH series supply. The cable carries the RCM (Regulatory Compliance Mark) to AS/NZS 4417.
The IEC Cable is approved under the Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM) scheme to AS/NZS 4417, confirming compliance with Australian electrical safety and EMC requirements. It is appropriate for use with the TRH50A (ESO160362), TRH70A (ESO160362), and TRH100A (ESO160346) certified supplies.
The IEC Cable is a separately ordered accessory — it is not included in the TRH supply box. It must be ordered alongside the TRH50A, TRH70A, or TRH100A to complete the AC mains input connection. Alternatively, the Powerbox PBB3S-Series IEC cable is also compatible with the TRH Series.
Yes — the standard C13-to-C14 IEC cable format is compatible with any equipment using a C14 inlet, making it a versatile mains lead for desktop power supplies, monitors, and other IEC-rated equipment. The AU/NZ version is rated for the Australian 230Vac 50Hz mains system.
Contact Powerbox at sales@powerbox.com.au or call 1800 251 380. We can supply the correct regional cable variant (AU/NZ) and confirm compatibility with your specific TRH model. The Powerbox PBB3S-Series is an alternative AC mains lead option also stocked locally.
