  • High-voltage catenary input range for rail installations - Engineered to operate reliably from 400 to 900 VDC catenary supplies, the OVX-6400 is designed to withstand the challenging electrical environments found in rolling stock. The 7701Z variant adds protection for 2800 V surge conditions in line with EN50124-2, supporting use across diverse traction networks.
  • Stable three-phase output with low harmonic distortion - The inverter delivers a regulated 400 VAC three-phase sine-wave output with THD below 2 percent, ensuring smooth operation of motors, compressors and other sensitive onboard equipment. Adjustable voltage and frequency settings give integrators full control when matching load requirements.
  • Comprehensive isolation and safety architecture - With 5200 VRMS input-to-output isolation and compliance to EN50124-1 insulation coordination requirements, the unit supports safe operation in high-energy rail environments. Additional protection includes under-voltage lockout, over-voltage shutdown, thermal safeguards and current-limited overload handling.
  • Advanced remote monitoring and control - RS-232 and CAN bus connectivity allow engineering teams to configure parameters, monitor input/output conditions and adjust operating modes during commissioning and routine service. Functions such as rotation direction, V/F curves, frequency set points and ramp profiles can be fine-tuned to meet application demands.
  • Robust mechanical design for onboard environments - Tested to EN61373 Category 1 Class B, the OVX-6400 withstands shock and vibration typical of rail vehicle installations.
