Railways Converters encounter some of the most demanding application conditions. To be reliable, these units must be ruggedised against harsh electrical, environmental and physical stresses typical of Rolling Stock.
The Powerbox range of DC DC Converters and DC/AC Inverters have been specifically designed and tested to withstand stresses encountered on Australian Rolling Stock.
The PB271 range of DC DC converters has a wide 45 - 154Vdc input voltage and is available with 12 or 24Vdc output.
The PBSP range of DC AC Inverters are available with 110Vdc input at 2.5kVA, 96Vdc at 3.5kVA and 74Vdc at 4kVA and can provide 240Vac, 50Hz ac power from the train generator and batteries.
